Claims AssistantOur client, a growing healthcare-related organization in the Lincolnshire area, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Claims Assistant to assist with an increased workload. This is an open-ended temporary opportunity with the potential for expanded responsibilities as you gain experience and knowledge within the role.The ideal candidate will enjoy administrative work, data management, and working in a fast-paced office environment. Previous insurance claims experience is highly preferred, but training will be provided on internal systems and processes.ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of administrative tasks including running reports, printing documents, and processing new accountsEnter and maintain accurate data within company databases and healthcare systemsReview information for accuracy and completenessMaintain detailed records and documentationCommunicate professionally with insurance adjusters regarding auto and workers' compensation claimsSupport the team with day-to-day operational and administrative needsAssist with additional responsibilities as workload and business needs evolveQualificationsPrevious experience with auto insurance claims or workers' compensation claims strongly preferredMedical insurance claims experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong typing, data entry, and computer proficiencyAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracyProfessional phone demeanor and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentScheduleThis position is 100% on-site in Lincolnshire, IL.Flexible schedule options include:8:00 AM - 4:00 PM8:30 AM - 4:30 PM9:00 AM - 5:00 PMThe schedule includes a paid lunch break.Work EnvironmentCasual office environmentSupportive team atmosphereTraining provided on internal systems and processesOpportunity to take on additional responsibilities over time
