Eye Clinics of Michigan is seeking a full-time, long-term Patient Coordinator. This position is on-site in Brownstown, MI, with required travel to other offices in Wayne, Wyandotte, and Dearborn, MI. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a favorable background check, basic computer skills, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Essential functions include facilitating patient flow, verifying medical and vision insurances, communicating effectively with patients, doctors, and managers, and answering inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.

The Patient Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their visit through excellent patient care. This role also involves performing administrative responsibilities to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients.

Key duties include providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, knowledge of common fees, completing daily reconciliations, and general office duties as assigned by the manager.

Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience or training, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to perform various physical activities.
