The role We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist at our Leominster, MA manufacturing facility to support the day-to-day execution of human resources initiatives while helping foster a culture of performance, accountability, engagement, and growth. This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and managers, providing guidance across a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about supporting both people and business objectives. Candidate must be available to be onsite 5 days per week and have schedule flexibility for meetings, investigations, etc due to the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on workplace matters, employee relations, and conflict resolution. Support positive employee engagement initiatives and help promote a productive and inclusive work environment. Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly/non-salaried positions, including candidate screening, interviews, pre-employment processes, and onboarding. Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with company values, business objectives, and legal requirements. Partner with managers to support performance management processes, employee development, coaching, and feedback discussions. Maintain compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices. Manage employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity. Collaborate with operations leadership to support workplace safety initiatives and return-to-work programs. Prepare, analyze, and report on key HR metrics and KPIs to support business decision-making. Participate in divisional and corporate HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Organize and support employee wellness, engagement, recognition, and community involvement activities. Qualifications & Experience Must have 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role. Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred! Strong knowledge of employment legislation, labor relations, and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated experience in: Recruitment and onboarding Employee relations and conflict resolution Performance management Benefits and compensation administration HR policy implementation and administration Employment law compliance Training and development coordination Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, multi-site, or fast-paced operational environments is an asset. Diploma (HND) or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
