Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately understand clients’ mental health concerns and formulate effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Set achievable therapeutic goals in collaboration with your clients, regularly monitoring their progress to ensure a clear path towards their mental health improvement.

• Utilize teletherapy platforms to offer virtual support, ensuring clients feel comfortable and engaged during their sessions, regardless of their physical location.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes to uphold ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in regular professional development, attending workshops and trainings that enhance your clinical expertise and equip you with the latest best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will revolve around assisting clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health issues. With a commitment to providing a safe space, you will build trusting relationships that empower individuals to navigate their challenges. By fully understanding the unique backgrounds of each client, you will adapt your approach to ensure their treatment is as effective and supportive as possible.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license is required: either as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital for successfully establishing therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients’ experiences will be critical for effective counseling.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure efficient client load management and adherence to administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in a telehealth setting is a plus but not required. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be beneficial. Experience working with diverse populations will enhance your ability to provide culturally competent care.
