Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake sessions to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and therapy needs.

• Design personalized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with the necessary tools and coping strategies to overcome challenges and improve their mental health.

• Coordinate care by referring clients to psychiatrists or other healthcare professionals when additional support is needed.
\n
• Document clinical assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans effectively within the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Stay current with professional developments, maintaining licensure and enhancing clinical skills through continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of mental health conditions. Your caseload may include individuals grappling with substance use issues, those affected by mood disorders, clients experiencing significant life transitions, and others seeking support for various psychological challenges. A commitment to cultural competence is essential, allowing you to provide effective and relevant care tailored to each client’s unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, along with experience using evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive techniques.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for client management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, with a possibility of up to $1,000 sign-on bonus.
