Polsinelli is seeking a patent agent to join our Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. Position open to any Polsinelli office with a strong preference for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, or Kansas City offices. Qualifications High level of academic achievement Solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience Superb writing and communication skills 2+ years of relevant experience in patent preparation and prosecution Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics Admission to the USPTO is required Preferred Experience Patent prosecution in electrical engineering or software-related technologies Experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence/neural networks Telecommunications (e.g., 5G, 6G, etc.) Autonomous driving Radio frequency (RF) circuitry Hardware and/or communications security (e.g., encryption/decryption) Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $140,000 – $250,000, depending on experience Discretionary bonus based on performance Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance Voluntary insurance including vision 401(k) plan Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Polsinelli PC
