Position Overview

The Sales & Marketing Manager is a senior leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. Reporting directly to the President, this role leads the sales, account management, and marketing functions.

This individual combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, strong commercial acumen, and cross-functional collaboration. The Manager will lead long-cycle, high-value sales efforts while building and developing a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Sales & Marketing Strategy Development

\n

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives
\n
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic direction
\n
• Identify new target markets and business opportunities using data, technology, and research
\n
• Establish sales forecasts and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
\n
• Align go-to-market strategies with overall business objectives

Sales & Marketing Leadership

\n

\n
• Lead and manage sales, account management, and marketing teams
\n
• Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
\n
• Oversee pipeline development, opportunity management, and long sales cycle execution
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners
\n
• Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, and market activity

Marketing & Market Engagement

• Oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives
\n
• Analyze and report on marketing effectiveness and ROI

• Strengthen brand positioning and market presence

• Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing with product and operational capabilities

• Partner with Finance to develop and manage sales and marketing budgets

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and execution

• Drive improvements in sales processes, forecasting accuracy, and reporting systems

• Implement tools and systems to support scalable growth

Qualifications

Industry Experience

\n

• Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing leadership role within an engineered-to-order, OEM, or capital equipment environment

• Demonstrated success managing long-cycle, complex sales processes
\n
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
\n

Technical & Business Expertise

• Strong understanding of sales strategy, marketing strategy, and revenue growth planning
\n
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and performance analytics

• Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and sales tools
\n
