Airbill Aviation Services is searching for a Captain – Bombardier Challenger 601, Part 91 | Single-Aircraft Corporate Flight Department To join a great team in the Bay area. Position Summary The Captain serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) for the company’s Bombardier Challenger 601, operating under Part 91. This company has operated its flight department for over 18 years and aircraft growth is in its near future. This position holds full authority and responsibility for the safe, compliant, and professional operation of the aircraft while supporting company leadership with discretion, sound judgment, and operational maturity. Key Responsibilities Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on all assigned Challenger 601 flights Exercise final authority for safe, legal, and efficient aircraft operation Conduct all operations in compliance with FAA regulations (Part 91) and company policies Perform thorough flight planning including weather, NOTAMs, fuel planning, and risk assessment Maintain aircraft readiness, cleanliness, and professional presentation Communicate aircraft status, scheduling considerations, and operational issues to management Provide discreet, professional service to company principals and guests Required Qualifications Valid passport with unrestricted international travel FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit Authorization to work in the United States Flight Experience Requirements Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500+ hours Prior Part 91 Captain experience [strongly preferred] Preferred Qualifications Challenger 601 type rating Challenger 600-series experience Professional Attributes Mature judgment and strong command presence High level of accountability and professionalism Strong communication and organizational skills Discreet, service-oriented, and safety-focused Compensation: [Competitive for operation type and location] Location & Schedule Commuting: Position is not commutable Operations: Primarily domestic On-demand Part 91 schedule typical of a single-aircraft flight department, 3 Captain qualified staff, average 11 work days per month, must be flexible to support schedule as needed.
