Your Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct standard and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various fields-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following prescribed protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, address discrepancies, and conduct routine calibration and maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and ensure samples are properly prepared for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree complemented by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within one year of your start date.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
