Description - What You Will Be Responsible For

• Evaluate results carefully for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection when necessary and prepare samples for testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, contribute to training programs for new team members, and help maintain stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree with eligibility for ASCP / AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Keep your certification current throughout your employment.
