• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot and rectify errors, and oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to specimen collection and preparation of samples for testing, ensuring adherence to lab standards.
• Document all lab procedures meticulously, assist in the training of new staff and students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory compliance requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in a related health field, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
