Job Responsibilities - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, identify and rectify issues, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new team members or interns, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment while adhering to both regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of your start date.
• Your certification must remain current throughout your employment.
