Description - Responsibilities in Your Role

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following established protocols meticulously.
• Interpret results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and facilitate preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new team members or students, and actively contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, is required, accompanied by readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification is mandatory throughout employment.
