Clinical Lab Operator I
$21.49 - $26.87 per hourNatera
Clinical Lab Operator I assists with specimen analysis and equipment maintenance at Natera's Austin lab. The role involves testing patient samples, maintaining lab standards, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting team operations in a regulated laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient sample testing according to standard operating procedures and performance metrics
- Maintain equipment calibration, inventory, and good operating condition
- Recognize, document, and escalate equipment malfunctions and protocol deviations to supervisors
- Provide onboarding guidance to new team members and assist colleagues with daily tasks
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and maintain HIPAA/PHI compliance training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field
- 0–2 years of industry-related laboratory experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with word processing and data management
- Ability to discern color visually and pass screening assessment
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compensation: $21.49–$26.87 USD per hour
