Work Environment\n

This position provides a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in balancing personal and professional commitments while catering to the needs of our clients across the region. Your regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured routine that aligns with the operational hours of our community health clinic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly patients, ensuring their unique psychological and emotional needs are accurately identified and addressed.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions focused on challenges related to aging, bereavement, life transitions, and emotional resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to devise and implement holistic care plans tailored to the individual needs of geriatric patients.

• Deliver education and training to family members and staff on effective communication strategies and interventions that enhance patient quality of life.

• Provide grief and loss counseling to clients and their families navigating the complexities of end-of-life issues, offering compassion and support during challenging times.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to design and administer cognitive stimulation and mental health interventions to enhance cognitive functioning among elderly clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on the older adult population, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders. You will be equipped to support clients who are dealing with profound life changes, including loss, chronic illness, and other age-related transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the State of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition to a strong base salary, employees will receive a generous sign-on bonus, providing additional financial support as you begin your career with us.
