Our client, a leader in insurance and reinsurance is seeking a Senior Director/VP Insurance Accounting. Comp range is $185-225k and bonus. Onsite, relocation offered, hybrid w/travel expenses covered are options. We are partnered to identify the best candidate with: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA
- 7-10 years of experience
- Insurance/reinsurance Industry experience
- Public Accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Yellow Book Filings, Statutory Reporting, AM Best interactions is mandatory
This role is responsible for: - Overseeing general accounting and finance reporting process
- Filings with the NAIC and State Agencies
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing for month end, quarter end, annual close processes and financial reporting
- Interaction with Senior Executives and external parties with NAIC, AMBEST and State Agencies (FL DOR)
- Partnered with the CEO to grown insurance business and build out team and processes.
- Responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions and financial reporting process for insurance and reinsurance companies, including all required filings with the NAIC and state agencies.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of the month end, quarter end, and annual close processes and financial reporting.
