Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Directions Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and formulate individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs.

• Providing therapeutic counseling sessions, including individual and group therapy, to address issues related to substance use and emotional well-being.

• Engaging in crisis intervention when required, employing proven therapeutic techniques to manage clients’ emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Documenting patient progress accurately and promptly in accordance with company and departmental policies, maintaining confidentiality throughout.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment approaches and discharge plans that reflect best practices in psychosocial care.

• Coordinating with clients' families and support networks to enhance treatment outcomes through comprehensive support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adult patients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your therapeutic interventions will play a crucial role in supporting their recovery journey, offering guidance, skill-building, and emotional support to help them achieve and maintain sobriety.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Hold an active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Have a minimum of three years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, specifically in the realm of substance abuse or mental health.

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), along with solid skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and self-discipline necessary to manage workload effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in detox settings or knowledge of addiction treatment methodologies, such as Motivational Interviewing or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
