Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to oversee daily back-of-house operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen leadership, food quality control, team supervision, and operational efficiency. Experience in pizza concepts or high-volume casual dining environments is highly preferred.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and passionate about leading teams while maintaining high standards in food preparation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and quality control.
• Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and minimize waste to support cost efficiency.
• Supervise kitchen staff by providing training, coaching, scheduling, and performance support.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations.
• Coordinate shift operations to maintain smooth workflow during peak service hours.
• Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure excellent guest experiences and efficient communication.
• Support budgeting, labor management, and food cost control initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, BOH Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and team management.
• Experience in pizza operations, casual dining, or quick-service restaurant concepts preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, inventory management, and labor control.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
