Intermediate District 287 is looking for Middle School Teachers (ASD/DD) for the 2026-2027 school year!

Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students (18-22 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. • Location: North Education Center in New Hope MN
• Program: Middle School
• FTE: 1.0 FTE
• Start Date: New Staff Orientation begins August 25 2026
• Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $51349 - 101853 (depending on experience and education)
• Tier 3 and Tier 4 ASD license are eligible for $3000 signing and retention bonus!

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Current teaching license in ASD DD OR a valid license in another subject area & willing to get an Out of Field license
