Northern Region Fleet & Field Operations Manager

Location: Eagan, MN | Employment: Full-Time | Travel: Up to 50%

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 plus quarterly and year-end bonus opportunities

What you’ll do

• Guide Branch Managers across the region, reinforcing common standards and elevating execution.
• Oversee daily operations for multiple sites to ensure dependable service and operational consistency.
• Manage driver and delivery operations: route planning, delivery patterns, fleet requirements, and service efficiency.
• Recruit, coach, and develop talent; support performance management and, when needed, terminations.
• Use operational data and delivery analytics to pinpoint gains in productivity and customer experience.
• Create and share clear operational reporting with branches and senior operations leaders.
• Collaborate on vehicle maintenance, fleet sizing, and replacement roadmaps.
• Roll up your sleeves for equipment deliveries or branch surges when extra hands are needed.
• Ensure service and regulatory compliance, including applicable DOT and industry rules.
• Support after-hours/on-call coverage to protect service reliability.
• Travel between branches roughly half of your time.

What you’ll need

• Prior supervisory/management experience; multi-branch leadership is highly preferred.
• Background in transportation, delivery, fleet operations, logistics, distribution, field service, or similar.
• Ability to develop leaders and frontline employees through coaching and accountability.
• Operational acuity with strength in performance analysis and process improvement.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
• Current driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
• CDL knowledge or exposure to DOT-regulated operations is advantageous.
• Comfort traveling ~50% within the assigned region.
• Background check requirement (verbatim): Ability to successfully complete required background and motor vehicle record checks.
