Job Responsibilities

• Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise individual therapy strategies that help them meet their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive functions, and ability to perform everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy techniques to facilitate progress beyond the treatment setting.
• Track and Analyze Progress: Monitor clinical improvements and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure every patient is on the right track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
