Role Description The part-time remote Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and maintaining accurate general ledger records. This role will prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support strategic financial planning. The Finance Manager will review financial data for accuracy, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations. Additional responsibilities may include working with external accountants, supporting audits, and helping refine financial processes and tools.\n
Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.

• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.

• Experience using accounting or finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools).
\n
• Ability to analyze financial data, create clear reports, and communicate findings to non-finance stakeholders.

• Knowledge of basic tax and regulatory requirements relevant to small or mid-sized businesses.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort working independently and collaboratively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Prior experience in a finance or accounting role; experience in a small business or agency environment is a plus.
