Pastor

Christ's Harvest Ministries, a non denominational church located in Big Rapids, Michigan, is searching for a senior Pastor. We are seeking a Spirit filled and Spirit led pastor who will teach and preach God's word and help fulfill our mission "Christ's Harvest Ministries is a unified body of believers committed to glorifying God by presenting Jesus to those who don't know Him and equipping for service those who do". His qualifications are listed in scripture (1 Timothy 3:1 7 and Titus 1:5 9). He will be the responsible shepherd of the church and must have a "Pastor's Heart". Current Senior Pastor will be resigning/retiring effective 8/31/2026. Responsibilities Preach or teach at all services unless another is designated Visit members of the congregation who are in the hospital, nursing home, and the elderly in their homes Maintain office hours at the church and be reasonably available at all times Be responsible for the spiritual growth of the church Be available to the congregation for counseling Work with area pastors and promote unity among the churches in the area Oversee and be ex officio member of all committees Be aware of and approve all teachings in the church Discipline with Matthew 18:15 17 as the guide Baptize in water by immersion those who have repented of sins Serve communion to all believers on a regular basis (at least once a month) Dedicate babies whose parents are Christians Conduct all congregational meetings (unless delegated to church Vice President) Chair board meetings (unless delegated to church Vice President) Approve all speakers in the church Perform all duties properly required by the board Be involved in outreach to the community #J-18808-Ljbffr
