We’re hiring a Production Equipment Setup and Troubleshooting Specialist for our 2nd shift. If you love turning complex machine problems into smooth, reliable output, this is your arena.

• Location: Katy, Texas
• Schedule: 2nd shift

What you’ll tackle

• Set up CNC lathes, manual lathes, grinders, and presses for efficient production.
• Optimize changeovers and setups to hit quality targets and cycle times.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement fast, lasting fixes to reduce downtime.
• Use shop math to determine dimensions, tolerances, and offsets.
• Log output, downtime, and performance metrics in ERP software with accuracy.
• Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to align on priorities and status.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Follow safety standards and sustain a clean, well-organized cell.

Must-haves

• Manufacturing floor experience (machine operation preferred).
• Mechanical troubleshooting strengths.
• Proven experience with production setups.
• Clear, concise communication skills.
• Applied shop math proficiency.
• Background with manual grinders, manual lathes, punch presses, and 5+ axis CNC equipment.
• Knowledge of ID and OD grinding plus stamping press operation.
• Team-player attitude with attention to detail and instructions.
