About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Fintech Lending Counsel with a focus on Bank-Fintech lending partnerships and sponsored lending programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance on the development and launch of lending products, as well as advising on regulatory and compliance matters to support the growth of these programs. This role requires a professional with a strong background in fintech, banking, financial services, or lending, and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, particularly in relation to consumer and commercial lending laws and regulations governing lending products and credit programs. Key responsibilities for the VP, Fintech Lending Counsel include supporting commercial contract negotiations, assessing and advising on legal and regulatory risks for new and existing fintech lending or credit programs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure that business objectives are met while managing legal risk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in taking fintech lending products from concept to implementation and will be adept at collaborating with product, compliance, risk, and operations teams. Experience in this area is essential, as is the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of Bank-Fintech partnerships.
