This role ensures the safe and effective maintenance of building systems, delivers exceptional tenant service, and manages the preventative maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime and lifecycle performance. The Planner/Scheduler Manager partners closely with the Senior Facility Manager and client Facility Area Manager to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead and develop facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within prescribed budgetsManage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractorsProvide coaching and performance management to direct reports throughout the year to achieve objectives and develop professional skillsAddress employee performance issues promptly and effectivelyPursue training resources to improve team capabilities and technical competenciesOperational ExcellenceOversee preventative maintenance program to ensure building systems meet or exceed rated uptime and lifecycle expectationsPerform daily facility inspections and coordinate outstanding projects with operations teamManage contractor activities on-site, ensuring compliance with all JLL and client policiesOversee overall service delivery of contracted services and vendor management programsEnsure all safety, compliance, and service delivery standards are met consistentlyClient & Stakeholder ManagementEnsure client satisfaction by providing seamless interface between client real estate organization and facilities operationsInterface directly with building occupants and tenants to resolve site issuesManage client expectations through leadership, responsiveness, and creative problem-solvingProvide lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfactionCollaborate with JLL teams on lease administration and tenant coordinationFinancial & Reporting ManagementPrepare and manage monthly operating budgets and forecastsComplete monthly variance reports and analyze budget performanceRecommend capital improvements and prepare operating budget reportsOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements based on client needsComplete all facilities-related reports accurately and on time following client record-keeping policiesPerformance & ComplianceFollow annual performance plan and accomplish Key Performance Indicators per client Performance AgreementEnsure compliance with JLL and client audit standardsImplement and maintain JLL and client safety programsShare innovations and best practices with JLL Facilities Management teamsMaintain knowledge of standard business accounting practices and real estate operationsRequired Skills and Qualifications6+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting capacityStrong leadership and people management skills with proven ability to develop high-performing teamsProficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiencesExcellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinkingProven record of delivering exceptional internal and external customer serviceDemonstrated ability to develop successful relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsKnowledge of standard business and accounting practicesAbility to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work alternative schedules including weekends as needed to meet facility requirementsPreferred Skills and QualificationsExperience managing both technical and administrative staff in multi-site environmentsKnowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety)Familiarity with real estate operations, telecommunications, and furniture managementExperience with budget development and financial forecastingProfessional certifications (CFM, FMP, or similar)Background in supplier/vendor management program developmentExperience with sustainability and energy management initiativesLean or Six Sigma process improvement trainingWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPosition requires flexibility to work weekends and alternative schedules as facility needs dictateDaily site walks and facility inspections requiredOffice and facility environment with exposure to building systems and mechanical spacesAbility to respond to emergency situations and after-hours facilities issuesWhat JLL OffersCompetitive compensation packageComprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement plansProfessional development and career advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and innovative work environmentIndustry-leading training programsApply TodayJoin an ambitious, collaborative, and inclusive team working to reimagine the world of real estate.
