Employee Relations Consultant

Support managers in coaching for performance improvement and action plan creation Advise leaders and employees on policies, procedures, and practices Assist leaders with disciplinary and performance action decisions Review, edit, and provide feedback on disciplinary or performance letters Assist leaders and staff with resolving employee relations issues Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations Liaise with the Compliance Office on hotline complaints and provide resolutions Conduct exit and stay interviews, summarize findings, and discuss trends and concerns with leadership and the Engagement Consultant Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management and reduce legal risks Partner with the legal department as needed Optimize people, processes, and technology, including AI, to expand access to learning, development, and growth opportunities Undertake other responsibilities as needed Report administratively and functionally to the leader of Workforce Optimization and Strategy Requirements Bachelor’s degree is required Investigation Certification preferred A minimum of two to four years required; five to seven years preferred Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communications and listening skills Knowledge of employment laws Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws, while effectively utilizing technology to enhance organizational learning and development. Strong ability to conduct investigations and provide actionable insights to leadership.
