Description

This contract on-site position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a supportive clinical environment.

As a Locum MD you will deliver comprehensive primary care services diagnosing and treating a broad range of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups. You will work closely with practice staff to ensure continuity of care accurate documentation and patient-centered treatment planning in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary care services to patients of all ages
• Diagnose treat and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct thorough patient histories physical examinations and clinical assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
• Order interpret and follow up on laboratory tests imaging and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response and adherence
• Perform preventive care health screenings and patient education
• Maintain accurate timely and compliant electronic medical records
• Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with specialists and care teams
• Adhere to clinical guidelines regulatory requirements and practice protocols

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine Internal Medicine or Primary Care
• Active unrestricted medical license eligible for practice in New York State
• Current DEA registration and relevant state controlled substance credentials
• Experience in outpatient primary care or associate-level clinical practice
• Strong clinical judgment diagnostic reasoning and patient assessment skills
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal communication and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
• Commitment to patient safety quality improvement and ethical medical practice

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Patient Population: Ages 18 specializing in geriatric care

Duties: Routine physical exams and health screenings sick visits treatment and management of chronic conditions same-day appointments immunizations and medication prescriptions and refills

Must be board-certified
