. This contract, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an associate-level physician to provide comprehensive ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care within a supportive and patient-centered healthcare environment.

As a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Otolaryngology, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, sinuses, head, and neck. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, deliver evidence-based treatment, and contribute to positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient evaluation of patients with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders.
• Perform detailed ENT examinations, including endoscopic assessments of the nasal cavity, larynx, and pharynx.
• Diagnose and treat conditions such as chronic sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, hearing loss, dizziness, and voice disorders.
• Perform minor and major ENT procedures, including sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, myringotomy with tube placement, and soft tissue biopsies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, such as audiometry, imaging, and laboratory tests, to guide treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with audiologists, primary care physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient care.
• Develop individualized care plans and counsel patients on medical therapy, surgical options, risks, benefits, and postoperative recovery.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records in accordance with facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and medical practice standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency consultations to ensure timely management of ENT urgencies and emergencies.
• Provide locum tenens coverage during provider shortages, vacations, or peak patient volumes, ensuring consistent access to specialty otolaryngology care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology-Head neck Surgery.
• Board certification or active candidacy/eligibility in Otolaryngology is preferred.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state, or ability to obtain licensure before assignment start.
• Current DEA registrationand Controlled Substance Registration, if applicable.
• Associate-level clinical experience in otolaryngology, with demonstrated proficiency in managing common ENT conditions and procedures.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills, including experience with endoscopic procedures and head and neck examinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and accurate medical documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently in an on-site, contract setting while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads, on-call schedules, and diverse patient needs.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, infection control, and evidence-based medical practice.

Schedule: 24-hour shifts
