Machine Maintenance Technician

- Novi, Michigan Contract position through Dec. 2026 Pay Rate: up to $32.50 per hour (based on proven work history) Duties Of The Machine Repair Technician Maintain, install, and repair a variety of machine tools and equipment Tear down damaged or defective units May replace or repair worn or damaged parts or components and reassemble May perform some machining on replacement parts or may do electrical troubleshooting and repairs on CNC, manual, or other plant machines Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment, machines, mobile equipment Assists Machine Repair and Mobile Equipment Mechanic as necessary May perform minor building maintenance but not limited to: Light Electrical, Plumbing, Cement Work, etc. Requirements Of The Machine Repair Technician High School Diploma or GED Experience with: MACHINE TOOL MAINTENANCE, MACHINE TOOL INSTALLATION, MACHINE TOOL REPAIR, ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING, CNC MACHINE REPAIR Additional experience with the following is required: PLUMBING, MANUAL MACHINE REPAIR, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, BUILDING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, MOBILE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, LIGHT ELECTRICAL WORK, CEMENT WORK, ETC.
