An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting K-12 students. This part-time leave coverage contract role spans from October 2026 through March 1, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic school environment near North Haven, CT. The role involves working across multiple schools, engaging with a diverse caseload, and collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their goals.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting
• Confidence and adaptability in managing K-12 student case loads
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized OT intervention plans
• Skilled in maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school or district requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services and interventions to K-12 students across various schools
• Conduct student assessments to develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes, making plan adjustments as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of educational goals
• Educate school personnel and families about strategies for fostering student independence and skill development
