The assignment covers various campuses with a diverse K-12 student caseload, offering you the chance to work with children and young adults of all ages and abilities. This role begins in October 2026 and continues through March 1, 2027, ensuring continuity of care and the chance to build meaningful connections with students and staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Connecticut
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Strong therapeutic assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple schools
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
• Up-to-date knowledge of IEP documentation and implementation

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels as specified in their IEPs
• Develop individualized therapy plans and adapt activities to foster student participation and success
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student progress in school environments
• Maintain accurate records, monitor student outcomes, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders
• Adhere to district guidelines and ensure confidential handling of sensitive student information
