Continuous Improvement Manager Job Details Reference number: View phone number on click.appcast.io Domain: Performance and Support Job field: Continuous improvement - Improvement and/or transformation project management - BB/MBB Employment type: Permanent (Full-time) Responsibilities Drive sustainable change by implementing Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and administrative support processes. Educate, coach, encourage and support employees at all organizational levels to drive change. Lead deployment of Lean/Six Sigma methodology through training, coaching and mentoring of employees and Green Belt candidates. Lead project teams to resolve common challenges and facilitate cooperation and teamwork with multi‑functional contributors. Oversee and participate in troubleshooting and analysis of opportunities to rapidly identify, evaluate, propose and implement solutions. Assist in analysis of performance and recommend opportunities for improvement and implementation as appropriate. Seek opportunities to partner and transfer knowledge with other Safran Helicopter Engines sites. Promote principles and a culture that motivates a workforce conducive to team‑based in‑plant Operational Excellence initiatives. Teach, coach and encourage continuous improvement thinking and lead Kaizen activities. Analyze workflows and encourage team involvement to improve safety, quality and productivity across the business. Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law, company policies and regulations. Other duties may be assigned. Candidate Skills & Requirements Access to information and hardware subject to ITAR and/or EAR; must be a U.S. person or meet eligibility requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of aviation‑related experience and/or training. Strong knowledge of the aviation community and its requirements. Proficient / Expert level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI). Lean Six Sigma tools including Value Stream Mapping and leading Kaizen events. Data analysis. Familiar with FAA regulations and understanding of quality requirements. Effective communication with internal and external customers. Teamwork and communication skills. Physical Requirements Office environment; regularly sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk or hear; frequently reach with hands and arms; occasionally stand and walk.
