A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Partner to join its Downtown Los Angeles office. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality employment litigation services and offers attorneys the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners within a collaborative and growing practice.
The Downtown Los Angeles office is dedicated to Labor & Employment matters and provides attorneys with access to sophisticated employment litigation work, a strong existing client base, and significant opportunities for long-term growth.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney with 8+ years of litigation experience. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who can independently manage employment matters through trial or arbitration while supporting an established portfolio of existing work.
The practice handles a broad range of employment disputes, including FEHA claims, wage and hour matters, class actions, PAGA litigation, and single-plaintiff employment cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling employment litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, class action, and PAGA disputes
- Managing all phases of litigation, including drafting motions, legal research, discovery, and case strategy
- Representing clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Working closely with partners and associates within a collaborative Labor & Employment practice group
Qualifications:
- Licensed and admitted to practice in California
- 8+ years of Labor & Employment litigation experience
- Strong experience handling California employment law matters
- Ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Trial and/or arbitration experience is strongly preferred
