About the Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity that combines hospital consults, hospital call, and outpatient clinic coverage. This role follows a rotating structure consisting of one week of inpatient call coverage followed by one week of outpatient clinic coverage. ⚕️

Schedule Structure:

Week 1: Hospital Call
• Monday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM ⏰

Week 2: Clinic Coverage
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ⏰

This rotation continues throughout the assignment. Coverage requires two physicians monthly to support two weeks of call and two weeks of clinic.

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Inpatient cardiology consults
• Diagnostic interpretation
• Outpatient evaluation and management ‍⚕️

Procedures & Services Include:
• Hospital consults
• TEEs ❤️
• Echocardiograms
• Nuclear cardiology testing ☢️
• General cardiology call coverage

✅ Requirements:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Board Eligible accepted) ✔️
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License
• DEA required

Ability to perform and interpret:
• Echocardiograms
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) ❤️
• Nuclear stress testing ⚡

Additional Qualifications:
• Comfortable managing inpatient consults and outpatient clinic patients
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
