Associate Director, Product Management

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director of Digital Asset Management to lead enterprise strategy, governance, and operations for commercial content. The role combines product leadership, AI-enabled automation, and people management to transform DAM into a strategic foundation supporting global-to-local content reuse and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise DAM vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Serve as business product owner, translating needs into prioritized capabilities and investment decisions
- Establish governance standards for metadata, taxonomy, asset classification, and compliance across global operations
- Lead team of content librarians overseeing metadata quality, asset stewardship, and platform support
- Partner with legal, regulatory, IT, and AI teams to implement controls and automation for content workflows
Requirements
- Enterprise product management experience with DAM, content platforms, or related systems
- Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading cross-functional partnerships across technology, compliance, and commercial teams
- Strong background in metadata, taxonomy, governance, and content lifecycle management
- People leadership experience building and coaching high-performing teams
- Knowledge of AI/generative AI applications in content creation and automation
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical promotional content, regulatory, or legal compliance requirements
