Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and execute individualized therapy plans with an emphasis on early intervention and same-day evaluation to facilitate effective recovery pathways for patients.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a cohesive work environment that encourages teamwork, high-quality service, and a steadfast commitment to patient safety and exceptional outcomes.
• Identify and implement clinical improvement initiatives by working alongside the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to enhance the rehabilitation process and achieve superior results.
• Maintain robust communication with employers, referral sources, and payer groups to ensure seamless service delivery and comprehensive patient support.
• Utilize clinical systems to manage and document patient care comprehensively, including efficient charge capture, coding accuracy, and follow-through on treatment recommendations.
• Adhere strictly to the State Practice Act and other regulatory guidelines to promote compliance and uphold best practices in physical therapy.
• Drive patient satisfaction by tracking experience metrics and consistently demonstrating best practices as outlined in the Physical Therapy Guidebook.
• Regularly manage clinical outcomes and engage with therapy staff on complex or outlier cases to strategize effective treatment solutions.
• Optimize patient care workflows including referrals, processing, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and enhance patient capture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse array of patients ranging from post-operative individuals to those managing chronic illnesses or recovering from injuries. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida is required.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, ensuring patient interactions are handled with professionalism and compassion.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a rehabilitation setting and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems are advantageous, as they contribute to an efficient workflow and superior patient care management. Previous engagement with multidisciplinary teams will provide an additional edge in enhancing collaborative patient care.

• The role offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
