Production Operator

Chemical Production Operator The position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that blends, mixes, packages, and transports liquid or dry chemicals to create customer products. The role ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate production equipment Weigh and load ingredients according to recipes Monitor processes and troubleshoot equipment issues Perform quality checks and collect product samples Complete production documentation and system entries Clean equipment and maintain a safe work area Follow safety, ISO, and company procedures Requirements Manufacturing, production, machine operation, or assembly experience Ability to operate and monitor production equipment Forklift/material handling experience preferred Strong attention to detail and safety awareness High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly Preferred Qualifications Chemical, paint mixing, plastics, or extrusion experience Comfortable working around dust, fumes, and industrial equipment Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift Schedule 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:50 PM-11:30 PM 3rd Shift: Sun-Thu, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM Stable manufacturing opportunity offering hands-on chemical production experience, ongoing training, consistent schedules, and a strong safety-focused work environment. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holden, MA. The pay range for this position is $22.65 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
