Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a 2nd shift CNC Setup / Machinist, where your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping precision components that drive innovation. In this vibrant environment, you'll operate and program CNC machines to produce high-quality parts, ensuring every detail meets our rigorous standards. Your contributions will not only enhance our manufacturing processes but also elevate the overall quality of our products.

What you’ll do

Operate and program CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce intricate components with precision.
Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to create and modify machining programs.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges for quality control.
Collaborate with account managers and engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
Maintain tooling and hand tools, ensuring they are in optimal condition for production.

Basic qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in CNC setups and machining processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming, including familiarity with Fanuc controls.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining operations.

Preferred qualifications

Mastercam Experience
Experience setting up machines, fixtures and parts.
Experience running large machines / large parts.
