12-Month Accounting Internship

LG Chem has created a 12‑Month Accounting Internship position for our corporate accounting team that supports the Business Services Team for North America. This full‑time, hourly internship offers real‑world experience with journal entries, month‑end close, and related accounting tasks. The position is based in our Corporate office in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA, and requires working full time Monday through Friday (8 AM–5 PM, 40 hours per week). What You'll Be Doing Provide accounting service to LG Chem subsidiaries in the Americas Perform all accounting jobs under the team leader’s guidance and company policy Monitor and provide administrative support in one or more accounting functions: journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, fixed assets and generate reporting Support reconciliation books and assist with the preparation of fixed asset expenditures, registration and modification, physical fixed asset counting, lease accounts, income and balance‑sheet statements Prepare internal and external reporting for HQ reports, NA regional office, and internal weekly and monthly reports Utilize PowerPoint and Excel for communication, data analysis, and reporting Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Education: BS or BA required, preference in accounting Interest in pursuing an accounting career Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Self‑starter with desire to learn and work autonomously Participation in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation Attention to detail with strong analytical skills Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) #J-18808-Ljbffr LG Electronics
