Responsibilities Maintain a store section; order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and rotation; stock shelves, displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases; prepare perishable products and set up promotional displays; review invoices and bills. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas, including the parking lot. Operate a cash register: receive payment, provide change, process check/credit/debit transactions, and handle refunds as authorized. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages. Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, providing product information and loading purchases into vehicles upon request. Perform basic bookkeeping duties: record lost/damaged goods and inventory supplies.
