Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a high-census Level III NICU environment
• Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, adjusting care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
• Support a unit operating at high census with approximately 35 beds and up to 48 babies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York or compact equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level III NICU experience
• Flu vaccine required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-census neonatal intensive care setting
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in complex neonatal cases
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
