TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Bronx, New York, 10457!

Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum of 3 years ICU experience required License: RN License to practice in Client or by reciprocity Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school Description: Candidates must possess a BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school. An RN License to practice in Client or by reciprocity is required. A minimum of 3 years of ICU experience is preferred. Certifications required to start include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. CCRN and TNCC certifications are preferred, but not required. Candidates should be efficient in managing patients with EVD and multiple medication drips. Experience with the use of Hemosphere Flotrac is essential. Ability to manage trauma patients of varying severities is required. Candidates should be proficient in performing assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS. Knowledge of hypothermia treatment and care with pleurevac chest tube drainage is necessary. Familiarity with Allscript EMR is required. Candidates must observe strict isolation precautions, including hand washing and gel in/out practices. Adherence to standard operating procedures and critical care practices is essential. Familiarity with the use of PCA pumps is required. The schedule will be from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are expected to float to the SICU and IMCU as needed and to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
