CMM Programmer

Are you ready to ensure precision and quality in aerospace manufacturing? Join our client's team as a key player in maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. You'll be responsible for final and in-process inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to various shop activities. Interpret blueprints and drawings to meet product specifications. Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other measuring equipment. Select appropriate inspection methods and perform quality verification of parts and assemblies. Analyze defective parts to identify reasons for dimensional variations. Act as a point of contact for customer quality-related issues. Coordinate gauge calibration and maintain thorough knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 standards. Develop manufacturing quality plans and perform AS/ISO audits. Issue, monitor, and close Cause and Corrective Actions. Ideal candidates will have: Strong preference for PC-DMIS experience A minimum of five years of experience in aerospace quality processing and inspection. Preferably, training in Six Sigma and/or lean methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good math skills. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and moderate lifting, with exposure to a production environment.
