2nd Shift CNC Machinist | $23-26 an Hour + $2.00 Shift Differential!

Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) Includes shift differential + weekend opportunities

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts based on blueprints and work instructions
• Make tool, offset, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Read and interpret prints, job routings, and specs with minimal supervision
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision tools
• Monitor quality and identify any non-conforming parts or processes
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards)
• Communicate with team members and leadership to keep production running smoothly
• Support continuous improvement efforts and learn multiple machines as needed

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice to Haves:

• Experience running multiple CNC machines or rotating between machines
• Familiarity with 5S or lean manufacturing environments

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced manufacturing facility working with metal or graphite materials
• Physical role standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional climbing
• Weekend availability required (typically 2 weekends per month)

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
