Think of it as ‘practical magic.’ Job Description California Closets is looking for a Social Media Intern to support paid and organic efforts across channels. This role is an excellent entry into the world of social as it will allow the person to get a variety of hands‑on experience in relationship management, channel production, and understanding analytics. We are looking for a candidate in the Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX markets. This is a hybrid position with 4 days remote, 1 day on‑site. Responsibilities Content Calendar Management: ensure the timely publication of paid and organic content, trafficking content, and confirming publication across all platforms. Influencer Management: fielding influencers requests and completing a templated worksheet for local market consideration. Community Management: monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our audience to foster a positive community environment. Analytics and Reporting: monitor social media metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, making recommendations for improvement. Trend Monitoring: stay up‑to‑date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into strategies to enhance engagement and reach. Bonus: Content Creation: ability to create social first content in partnership with their nearest showroom using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva, and native platforms to craft authentic, on‑brand content and write post copy. Compensation - $17 per hour Qualifications Education: currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Skills: proficiency with social media platforms (IG, LinkedIn, FB, TikTok, X) and basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop). Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills. Interest: passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and the brand's industry. Analytical Skills: ability to gather data and turn it into actionable insights. We are an equal opportunity employer.
