Job Description Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). Role and responsibilities Review and analyze business and technical requirements Design, build, and support front-office web applications (frontend & backend) using a modern stack Deliver scalable solutions that meet user needs and deadlines Troubleshoot issues, provide efficient fixes, and document solutions Own application streams with a high level of autonomy Participate in testing to ensure application quality and stability Proactively suggest improvements to processes and tooling Lead the modernization of Excel-based tools while supporting existing workflows during transition Qualifications 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming C# orPython 2+ years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new domains Able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments Basic finance knowledge or willingness to learn (Repo, Collateral, Triparty) Exposure to trading floor environments is a plus Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, DDD, or VBA is a plus Access to GitHub Copilot and Claude 4.5 Sonnet internal GPT agent CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on code coverage and continuous delivery At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including: The salary range for this role is US$95,000 - US$135,000 401(k) retirement plan with company matching 15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out) 8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year ❤️Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA Voluntary STD and LTD All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talan Group
