Job Title: Billing Coordinator

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our client to support efficient and accurate billing processes within a fast-paced professional environment. This role will assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining billing documentation while ensuring compliance with established financial guidelines. The Billing Coordinator will collaborate with internal stakeholders to research discrepancies, support reporting needs, and contribute to smooth revenue cycle operations. This is a direct hire , hybrid opportunity based in Chicago, IL or Washington, DC , requiring two onsite days each week (including Wednesdays).

Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000 annually

Work Schedule:
35?hour work week | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1?hour lunch

Key Responsibilities of the Billing Coordinator:

• Support end-to-end billing activities by preparing, reviewing, and processing billing documentation
• Assist with generating draft invoices, applying adjustments, and ensuring timely submissions
• Maintain accurate billing records, rate structures, and required financial data
• Partner with internal teams to gather information, resolve billing issues, and support reporting needs
• Contribute to billing accuracy and compliance by identifying discrepancies and following established procedures

Qualifications and Skills for the Billing Coordinator:

• 1-4 years of accounting experience
• Legal billing experience preferred
• Experience with 3E, Elite, or Aderant systems
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
