Associate AttorneyOur client is a well-established law firm with a practice focused on real estate, civil litigation, and personal injury matters. The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys and play an active role in supporting clients throughout the legal process. The position will primarily focus on pre-litigation personal injury matters while also providing support on litigation files as needed. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while developing their legal skills within a collaborative team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters under attorney supervisionConduct client intake interviews and case evaluationsDevelop case strategies and provide legal guidance to clientsCommunicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and third partiesAssist senior attorneys with litigation mattersAttend court hearings, conferences, mediations, and other legal proceedings as assignedDraft legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materialsConduct legal research and analysisMaintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with deadlinesCollaborate with attorneys and staff to support overall case management and firm objectivesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school2-5 years of experience handling personal injury matters, preferably pre-litigation casesLicensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, or eligible for prompt admission in both jurisdictionsStrong negotiation and advocacy skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong legal drafting and courtroom presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectivelyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProfessional judgment, integrity, and commitment to ethical legal practiceAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environmentPreferred QualificationsPrior experience handling personal injury matters is preferred but not requiredDemonstrated interest in personal injury, civil litigation, or related practice areasStrong commitment to professional development and client serviceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
