Attorney - Trusts & Estates

Our client in Providence, RI is seeking an Attorney with Trust & Estate experience. The Trust & Estate Attorney will work with an established Law Firm and Partnership to provide their high net worth client base with complex and sophisticated trusts and estates to help meet their wealth objectives. The Trust & Estate Attorney will provide estate planning, administration, and wealth transfer services, including but not limited to: Wills and trusts for estate tax returns, tax savings, and probate matters; trust administration; prenuptial agreements; powers of attorney; succession planning; gift tax returns; Medicaid planning; and special trusts for members with disabilities.


To be considered, you must have:

• At least 3+ years of experience in Trusts and Estates, with a strong interest in growth
• Experience with a combination of the following: Drafting and implementing complex trusts and long term care strategies for high net worth clients; estate administration and probate; tax planning
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships, conducting effective client meetings, and providing sound legal representation
• Strong ethical standards in combination with strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid organizational, analytical, and legal research skills, with an ability to multi task concurrent cases
• Juris Doctor Degree
• Licensed to practice, and in good standing, with the Rhode Island and / or Massachusetts Bars
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness / ability to be onsite daily, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement in the future
